"The Williamson House", a vintage treasure to be celebrated! Imagine living a piece of history as this house was resettled here to the "New Iroquois", in 1957 & is known to be the largest move when the St. Lawrence River was rerouted to create the Seaway. Built in the early 1880's, it's one glorious home reclaimed from what's known as "The lost villages of the St. Lawrence". The present owners thru the many years of ownership have brought this Victorian gem back to life, uncovering unique treasures once created by skilled craftsmen such as finely etched & leaded stained glass windows, wooden trim & staircases w/carved railing posts. As luck would have it, the new foundation created another living space to enjoy. Modern conveniences have brought it into the 21st century w/out compromising its integrity.
