It gives a more true representation of the price of the house; SIGNIFICANTLY better than blind bidding.

What are you saying? There shouldn’t be any bid extensions and let the person who bids with 1second left snipe the home from the person who thought they were about to own it? Would love to hear your idea for something that’s more fair 

it's best practice to have auction extensions when someone places a bid within the last few seconds. we do this to promote a fair and equitable experience for everyone involved. we would hate to see someone 'steal' a property from someone else just because they were able to swoop in at the last minute - transparency and equality is the focus!

If you were a buyer would you be happy losing a house to someone sniping it at the last minute? This isn't ebay lol
